Introduction to Spatial Planning Method of Temporary Housing (A Case Study: Earthquake Crisis in Tehran)

Consideration of the depth and severity of tragedy of earthquake in Tehran was the most important motivation for this research. This research intends to propose a method for preparation, and prevention of damages to control and manage them in order to facilitate and accelerate temporary housing. Necessarily, city planning is used to choose suitable places for housing. Therefore, methods such as industrial prefabrication, infrastructural foundations foresight, access roads, electricity generators, water and waste-water tanks and piping, in suitable places such as parks, green belt and other similar positions considering all bio-environmental criteria are offered.This research is done according to library and field studies like interview, questionnaire, and formation of specialized workgroups, visits, photography and test of selected samples. Experts and engineering judgment method, reference and using analytical techniques for needs assessment and analysis, and finally totalizing of methods are offered.
